Entangled Life

The tangled life of Qiu Ju, a fisherman's son from Hubian Village on the edge of Honghu Lake, during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. A few years before the Wuchang Uprising, he grew from a boy who didn't understand the world to a 16-year-old young man. He had an upright personality since he was a child. He loved to make friends, but when he grew up, he not only did this, he also helped others, and sometimes he drew his sword to help when he saw injustice on the road. Because of his marital problems with a neighbor woman, his parents had to ask him to return to Shitou Village near Shatong Town in his hometown to support his grandparents. After returning to his hometown, he determined to work in Shatong Town to make money to support his family and make a fortune. Here, he met several women led by Liu Hehua, and was entangled with them almost all his life. His several romances and marriages also changed his life.
