This Monk Absolutely Won't Chant Sutras

At Cold Light Temple, young monk Xuanguang spends his days hunting in the wild, teasing birds, and grilling meat. He doesn't act like a monk at all.

Master: "Xuanguang, hurry up and go chant the sutras."

Xuanguang: "Master, this disciple doesn't know how to chant sutras."

As soon as he finishes speaking, golden lotuses bloom beneath his feet, light shines from behind his head, and he rises into the air.

The old monk falls to his knees, tears in his eyes. "My disciple has become a Buddha..."
