From the Start: I Applied to the Wrong Major and Became a Master of Funerary Rites

Liang He transmigrates to a parallel world…

He gets off to an incredibly unlucky start: he chooses the wrong university on his college entrance exam application, then leaves the secular world to become a funeral chant master.

His teachers feel sorry for him, his classmates mock and ridicule him, and even the campus beauty who once pursued him finds him repulsive.

But soon, all of them do a complete turnaround.

Campus beauty: "Liang He, even if you're a bald monk, I'm still willing to marry you."

Junior girls: "Even your leaving the secular world can't stop us from secretly loving you, Senior."

Tycoon: "Master Liang, here's two million. Please, I'm begging you to sell me a consecrated Buddhist amulet."

Netizens: "Master Liang, when are you going to exorcise some ghosts? Buddhist-text diapers are sold out, so please restock them!"

Miss World: "After meeting Master Liang, I realized I was in love."

After a video of him chanting to send spirits on their way went viral on social media, Liang He became a household name as a master exorcist..
