Great Tang: No One Knows the Emperor Has Become a Zombie

In the 155th year since Li Xuandi founded the Heavenly Tang Empire,

the entire Eastern Continent had been incorporated into its territory. The empire swept across the continent, securing the realm through martial might and governing it through culture. The age was peaceful and prosperous, its splendor blazing like oil on a fire.

In the autumn of the 155th year of the Kaiyuan era, an imperial edict announced that Li Xuandi would "enter seclusion to cultivate and seek the Dao and immortality," temporarily entrusting supreme authority to Crown Prince Li Ye...

The court officials were furious, and the people mourned.

From then on, the prosperous Heavenly Tang faced a calamity unlike any it had ever known...

To the west lay the British Empire, and to the east, the Roman Empire.

Napoleon and Commodus, two great emperors, watched like tigers poised to pounce, while undercurrents swirled within the Heavenly Tang...

"Your Majesty... has not passed away. He is not dead."

Chen Xun said calmly.

The court officials stared at the sage on the dragon throne, dressed in imperial robes and wearing a crown, yet bound in chains and raving like a madman. For a long time, none could regain their composure.

A fantastical reimagining of the Tang Dynasty, set in an alternate history.
