Haunted House Journal: Living in a Haunted House, Sleeping in a Ghost's Bed

Haunted House Deals

In our line of work, the most important things are courage and luck.

It all began many years ago,

when, by a twist of fate, I took over my first haunted house.

Thanks to haunted houses, I once made hundreds of millions in a year, and escaped death more than once.

There was the Catfish Incident, which made the news,

and the many haunted houses the news only dared to report on vaguely.

I even ventured into Fengmen Village.

In those haunted houses, I saw the most terrifying infant spirits,

Kuman Thong idols worshiped with uninterrupted offerings of incense for decades,

and the twin ghosts of a mother and child, killed together and used in an evil ritual to ward a house.

But the most terrifying thing of all is the human heart.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
