Life I Yearn For: Three Years in Seclusion, Then Back to the World

Seven years ago, Bai Chen burst onto the scene.

With outstanding grades, he got into the Imperial Capital Film Academy and became a directing student.

Over his four years at the academy, he made several TV dramas and films, while also writing the scripts.

He directed Chinese Paladin, The Young Warriors, Chinese Paladin 3, and other productions, bringing then-unknown actors like Hu Ge, Liu Yifei, and Peng Yuyan to fame.

Without exception, these shows were considered classics at the time.

Then, in his junior year, he decided to enter the film industry. With low-budget productions like Crazy Stone and Love Is Not Blind, Bai Chen raked in hundreds of millions at the box office, becoming a legendary figure of his time.

But at the height of his fame, he chose to disappear from public view.

He was already close to graduation. He had a bright future ahead of him, yet suddenly retired from the industry.

No one knew why, not even his good friends Hu Ge and Peng Yuyan...
