A Mage's Personal Opinion

This is the end of a journey, in a world of tangled complexities.

Here, there are elves, insectoids, robots, and beastfolk.

As the masters of this planet, humans learned magic from the elves and mastered the technology of the future from the robots.

They used what they had learned to attack the insectoids, while keeping the beastfolk under observation.

Faced with technology and magic honed to the extreme, humanity ultimately chose to revere magic above all. Those with great magical skill could rise to prominence, become officials, grow rich, and make a name for themselves.

Leon, artificial human No. 37, was the culmination of technology and magic.

From the moment he was created, he had only eight years to live.

His life was destined to become a legend, and he would spend it searching for redemption.
