Onmyoji: I’m Taking on Disciples in Tokyo

"Taichi, remember: when an Onmyoji encounters a yokai that poses no threat to human life, don't destroy it. Just drive it away."

"Yes, Master. I understand, but... isn't it an Onmyoji's duty to exterminate yokai?"

Gen'i Hisashi said solemnly, "If you just keep exterminating them, you'll only cause the yokai to grow resentful and deepen their hatred of humans. It's not worth it."

"I see. Your wisdom is truly profound, Master!"

Gen'i Hisashi gave a knowing smile.

As if!

There are already so few commissions to exterminate yokai. If they're all wiped out, how am I supposed to make money?

So, guided by the principles of recycling and building a network of subordinates, Gen'i Hisashi began taking on disciples and teaching them Onmyodo, planning to train them into money-making tools of his own, ahem, outstanding Onmyoji!

This is the story of a "lazy good-for-nothing" unofficial Onmyoji who takes disciples and exorcises yokai in Tokyo.
