War of Resistance: Starting with the Anti-Japanese Campaign

No System, just a high-octane, satisfying war story!

On August 13, 1937, the Battle of Shanghai broke out. The bloody fighting lasted three months and ended with the fall of Shanghai.

The 17th German-Equipped Brigade of the 87th Division was ordered to hold the rear.

"What's the situation? How many Japanese troops are there?"

"Brigade Commander, it's urgent. The troops pursuing us from behind are the Japanese 6th and 7th Divisions, along with the 18th Mixed Brigade. On our left are the Japanese 9th and 13th Regiments. On our right is the Combined Fleet. What do we do?"

"I asked how many Japanese troops there are!"

"Seventy thousand in total!"

"How many men do we have?"

"Fewer than five thousand, including the wounded!"

"Then we fight!"

For every inch of our land, a drop of blood. For every hundred thousand young men, a hundred thousand soldiers. How could the vast land of China let the Japanese invaders run rampant?
