I Don't Want to Be a Monk, So I Run Down the Mountain from the Start

Late at night, in a desolate forest in the mountains.

A frail young woman cried out for help.

The scholar Ye Fei happened to be passing by and followed her voice.

"Young master, please save me. I hurt my ankle. Could I trouble you to help me home?"

"Don't worry, miss. Helping others is what makes life worthwhile."

Ye Fei supported the woman all the way home, then turned to leave.

Unexpectedly, the woman's expression changed in an instant:

"Now that you've crossed this threshold, do you think you'll leave alive?"

"Hahaha, foolish human!"

But Ye Fei laughed:

"What a naive monster. You actually dare pick on a scholar? You must be a rookie, right?"

Ye Fei had been an ordinary student.

By a stroke of fate, he transmigrated to the Era of Demons and Monsters and entered Flying Temple.

But he didn't want to become a monk.
