Journey to the West: Suppressing Tang Sanzang from the Start

In Journey to the West, Buddhism seeks to reap boundless merit from Great Tang with nothing more than a single scripture.

How could our vast land of Huaxia become a pasture for Buddhists, with our people treated like leeks to be harvested?

The Jing River Dragon King frightens the Tang emperor, while Xuanzang performs grand water-and-land rites on the banks of the Wei River.

Who is guiding all of this? Is it a plot, or mere coincidence?

Li Tianyun is reborn in the world of Journey to the West as the son of Tang emperor Li Shimin.

With the golden dragon of national destiny at his side, he cultivates all kinds of hybrid rice and makes some anti-inflammatory and blood-stanching medicine, earning merit along the way.

The people of Huaxia are not gullible sheep for charlatans. How could we let the West harvest our merit?

The descendants of Huaxia revere only the ancestors of humanity, such as the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. We do not worship Buddhas and deities who spout empty invocations.
