Journey to the West: Tang Sanzang, King of Destruction

Tang Sanzang obtains the Super-Low-Budget System.

From the start, he finds a priceless treasure: the primordial spirit treasure Hongmeng Measuring Ruler.

But Tang Sanzang picks up the Heaven-Burning Hammer, which can destroy heaven and earth, and smashes it to pieces.

Guanyin Bodhisattva: "Tang Sanzang, this is a primordial spirit treasure! It once shook the Three Realms and terrified the demon race. And now you've destroyed it just to get a banner. What were you thinking? You could have kept it for your first disciple, Sun Wukong, to refine and use to slay demons and monsters along the way."

Tang Sanzang: "No need. My purpose on this journey is the Journey to the West. This is a demonic object, so it's better to destroy it."

System: Ding! Congratulations, Host, on destroying one of the Four Great Treasures of Hongmeng. You are rewarded with half the merit of creating the world and one Golden Immortal Quick-Training Card!

Tang Sanzang: "Heh heh."

From then on, on the Journey to the West, whenever he came across a spirit treasure, no matter how valuable or rare, he would smash it with a single blow!

Tang Sanzang: "Wukong, your Golden Cudgel can't beat monsters or subdue demons. Carrying it on this journey is just a burden. Why don't you let me..."
