Daoist: Reviving the Daoist Sect, Starting with The Legend of Sword and Fairy

His treacherous master ascends to immortality on the last wisp of chaos energy, and the gates to the Immortal Realm close.

He abandons Chuchenzi, who at just eighteen has already reached the Integrated Realm, in this mortal world.

Chuchenzi inherits Wuzhuang Temple from Zhen Yuanzi, the Ancestor of Earthly Immortals, and becomes its new head.

After obtaining an Ascension System, he must make Wuzhuang Temple a household name and the strongest sect in the world, then teach disciples who can carry on its legacy. Only then can he reopen the gate to the Heavenly Realm and ascend to immortality.

Completing each stage of the mission earns a reward from the System.

From then on, Chuchenzi begins a carefree life on Longevity Mountain, teaching disciples and growing ginseng fruit. Now and then, he goes out to take a guest role in a TV drama to raise Wuzhuang Temple's profile, and brings back a few female disciples.

Sometimes, he also slays demons and monsters to protect the people.

This is a story about the revival of the Daoist sects, and also about showing off without anyone noticing.

Showing off is always satisfying. Keep showing off, and it just keeps getting better.
