Great Tang: I'm Really Not an Immortal

Zhang Lang transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty from the start, only to discover that he has become a Taoist priest. Even more absurdly, Li Shimin orders him to pray for rain!

Li Er, you son of a... I really don't know any immortal arts! Zhang Lang, nearly suffering heatstroke under the blazing sun on the altar, curses inwardly!

Just then, he awakens the System and receives one use of the skill to command the wind and summon the rain! The System even gives it a full set of flashy special effects!

Li Shimin: You still claim you don't know immortal arts?

Li Jing: Imperial Preceptor, can you use the art of scattering beans to summon soldiers and help our Tang Dynasty wipe out the Turks once and for all?

Empress Changsun: Imperial Preceptor, could you make me a batch of immortal pills? His Majesty seems a little... under the weather lately.

Zhang Lang smiles faintly and says, "No problem. Just give me some time to recover my magical powers."

Inwardly: Damn this System! If you don't give me another reward soon, I'll be exposed. I'm really not an immortal!
