The God of the Mountain

Unable to bear her parents' constant arguments, Xia Feiniao runs away from home on a stormy day, only to unexpectedly transmigrate to a wondrous world inhabited by the Mountain God Tribe. For thousands of years, they have served the Mountain God, passing down many customs and traditions.

Starving, Xia Feiniao goes looking for food and accidentally stumbles upon the Mountain God Tribe's goddess as she bathes in a purification ritual. Just as he is about to be burned alive at the stake, a downpour saves him. He is then imprisoned in a place called the Sea Prison, where he is forced to perform unpaid labor for the tribe until he dies. There, he meets others who, like him, transmigrated here and were imprisoned in the Sea Prison for various reasons. Together, they plot a way to escape this world.

Just as they are at a loss for what to do, the Mountain God Tribe's goddess, longing to see the world beyond, gets involved in their escape plan. After learning the truth about the Sea Prison, she decides to help them leave this world. With the goddess's help, they slowly begin to understand this world..
