The System Won't Let Me Stop Taking Medicine

A group of boys go sightseeing in the Shennongjia mountains. After a difficult climb to the summit, they gaze at the magnificent landscape and decide to recite a poem to show off. To their utter surprise, one of them is struck by lightning and instantly taught a lesson.

Did he bring this on himself, or did even Heaven have it in for him for showing off like that?

The outcome is unexpected: he survives the disaster and gains the support of a System.

But this System is a bit of a trap. Everyone else gets a tycoon System from the start, with sign-in rewards of hundreds of school district homes, plus luxury cars and several hundred million in cash. What do you mean, System, by telling me I can't stop taking medicine?

Boy: "What's the benefit of taking medicine? Can it make me rich?"

System: "Medicine can change your constitution and help you live longer. It might even let you become an immortal. Hurry up and take it."

Boy: "But I'm broke and can't afford medicine. Can't you really give me a few hundred million?"

System: "Would you trade twenty years of your life for a few hundred million?"

The boy ponders for a moment. "Yes, I do. I'm willing."
