Transmigrating into GTA 5: Los Santos

When ordinary college student Luo Kele learns that the Epic platform is giving away the classic game GTA 5 for free, he excitedly deletes his pirated copy and gets the game for nothing.

But Luo Kele can’t bring himself to celebrate having a legitimate copy. The initial two-factor authentication is already a headache for a newcomer like him. Then the Rockstar launcher’s painfully slow updates, rivaling those of a cloud drive, the game server loading slowly or crashing so he can’t get in, cloud save loading failures, and a host of other problems leave him frustrated and exasperated.

Never in a million years did he expect that, after finally managing to enter the game, something even more infuriating would happen: he had actually "logged in" to GTA 5 itself.

That’s right, he transmigrated. The moment he entered the game and opened his eyes, seven glowing traditional Chinese characters hovered before him: Welcome to Los Santos...
