Showbiz: My Fans Boost My Rankings

Zou Wenjie debuted at sixteen. He was once a hugely popular star, a musical genius known to students across the country.

One song, Nunchucks, opened people's eyes.

One song, East Wind Breaks, had students singing it everywhere.

And one song, Seven Miles of Fragrance, drove countless students wild.

Back then, he was hailed as a new force in Chinese pop and the king of his era.

But because of the times, although his songs swept across campuses, they never received official recognition.

Unable to make money for his company, he was eventually shelved by them.

Ten years later.

On the day his contract with the company finally ended, the company prepared to heavily promote a young idol who liked wearing overalls and sporting a middle part, deciding to spend big to boost his charts.

At the same time, the idol's fans posted a mocking thread about Zou Wenjie online. It brought countless former fans of Zou Wenjie out of the woodwork.
