Myriad Worlds: I Can Arrange the Backstory

Having powerful connections and having none lead to completely different lives.

In Journey to the West, monsters with no backing get beaten to death, while those with powerful patrons are taken home by the various deities.

Sun Wukong was born from a divine stone left behind when Nuwa repaired the heavens, yet after his Havoc in Heaven, he was still crushed beneath Five Elements Mountain. What does that tell us? It means his connections weren't powerful enough!

"Wukong, have you ever heard of gallstones?"

"What?"

"Actually, you're a gallstone inside Pangu's body. The Buddhists call it a sarira. In fact, you're a Creation Sarira, the very embodiment of the world's merit."

"Huh?"

"Look, the Tathagata is kneeling and begging you to come out from under the Five Elements Mountain."

With the Connections System, you can arrange any background you want across the myriad heavens. Want to enjoy a different kind of successful life? Beg me!
