In the Age of Ending Dharma, the heavens collapsed because of the underworld fruit that grew in a underworld tree in the human world. The three realms of humans, demons, and immortals fought for this fruit and shattered the heavens and the earth. In the chaos, the underworld fruit fell off and it was unknown where it landed. The demons grabbed the underworld tree, and the immortals took over the demon pond where the underworld tree was planted. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
