Urban: Sorry, I'm the Protagonist

Ordinary isn't a derogatory word.

But to Lu Yao, it was like a shadow hanging over his head, impossible to shake off and always returning.

In twelve years of school, he had never had a girlfriend or ranked first in his class.

He wanted to become one of the standout students in his class, someone a girl would think was cool. He wanted to get as close as he could to his ideal self, even if only by a little.

He had also made grand declarations, repeatedly swearing to the sky, "I refuse to live a mediocre life! I want a girlfriend, I want money, and I want my parents to be proud of me!"

Until one day, he suddenly realized that he really was the protagonist of a story.
