Xuanhuan: From the Start, I Tricked an Immortal King

The Immortal King took office full of ambition, vowing to manage the Celestial Court well and restore its former glory. But he soon found that a fellow named Shen Ming kept throwing a wrench in his plans. Shen Ming's reasons were impossible to refute, and in the end, the Immortal King accomplished nothing.

Immortal King: There are too many celestial clerks. Get rid of everyone who has nothing to do!

Shen Ming: Two celestial maidens have nothing to do but serve tea. Go ahead and dismiss them.

Immortal King: I will reorganize the celestial army and make our might known!

Shen Ming: But we already have the Twelve Yin-Yang Primordial Treasures. We have no need for an army.

Immortal King: Then get me the latest news about the other celestial continents. I am going to war!

Shen Ming: We don't know much about the other celestial continents. There may be some historical records from the previous era. I'll go get them for you.

Immortal King: ...
