A game called Global Evolution suddenly appears on Blue Star, with all of humanity as its players.
At the same time, all kinds of instances appear around the world. Anyone who completes an instance's missions can grow stronger.
But the protagonist, Chu Hao, accidentally binds himself to the Breakdown System. As long as he wrecks an instance, he can earn all sorts of rewards.
While countless people toil away, trying to complete their first instance mission, a voice rings out across the world:
"Due to one player's severe disruption of an instance's storyline, the servers have been taken offline for maintenance."
NPC: "You mean that bastard Chu Hao? Let me tell you, he... Ahhh! He's here! Seal the entrance, now!"
Blue Star players: "Chu Ritian is freaking awesome!" Their voices crack.
Powerful figures from every faction: "That man is not to be trifled with!"
