Great Tang: Framed for Cheating in the Imperial Exams

In the second year of the Zhenguan era,

Li Shimin reopened the imperial examinations.

Wang An had planned to win on merit, but was falsely accused of cheating?

At once,

Wang An dipped his brush and wrote "Spring River in the Flower Moonlight Night," overwhelming the literary world of the Tang Dynasty!

The scholars of the realm were stunned!

Just then, an envoy from Goguryeo came to court, claiming that "Spring River in the Flower Moonlight Night" had been written by a Goguryeo poet?

"May I ask, does your Goguryeo poet happen to be named Zhang?"

At the banquet, Wang An laughed aloud and challenged the Goguryeo envoy.

Then,

He gave himself over to wild abandon, composing a hundred poems over a jar of wine!

Every one of them, a verse for the ages!

The whole realm was shaken!

His fame as the Poet Immortal spread far and wide!

"Sigh, how many times have I told you? I copied all these poems. Why won't you believe me?"

As for his title of Poet Immortal, Wang An could only shrug, his face full of helplessness.
