Three Kingdoms: I’ll Come Clean, I’m Liu Bei

Li Hao, a history PhD, transmigrates to the end of the Han dynasty. He plans to observe the era first and wait for his late-arriving System, so he opens a tea stall in Xinye to make ends meet.

A man who calls himself Old Liu takes a liking to the green tea Li Hao brews. He often visits the stall and always asks strange questions.

"Who do you think is the true hero of the realm today?"

"Can the Han dynasty be restored?"

"If you were to enter public life, which power would you join?"

Li Hao is at a loss. Is it really appropriate to discuss matters of state at a tea stall?

Still, for the sake of Old Liu's coins, Li Hao answers, "The heroes of the realm are Cao Cao and Liu Bei. If I could choose, I'd most like to join Liu Bei's cause."

Old Liu is delighted. "Shopkeeper, I'll come clean. I'm Liu Bei!"
