MapleStory: The Dual Blade of Erda

The endless birth and extinction of Elda make up this world: Maple, Crimson, Grandier, the homeland of superpowered beings.

In the world of Maple, Elda's immense energy gave rise to hundreds of gods, each governing different forces and laws. But this state of affairs soon changed dramatically.

After the chaos, many gods were struck back by Elda's energy, falling into slumber, decline, and death.

Only three gods remained, known as the Transcendents: Lena, the Transcendent of Time; the White Mage, the Transcendent of Light; and Alisha, the Transcendent of Life.

There was also Dalemor, an overseer hidden within the world, lofty and disdainful of all forms of life.
