Great Tang: Prince Consort, Please Don't Start a Rebellion!

Luo Tong transmigrated and became the son of Luo Cheng, Duke of Yue. By then, his father was already dead, while his grandfather Luo Yi had not rebelled and remained Prince of Yan, guarding Youzhou.

As both the descendant of a meritorious official and a hostage, Luo Tong had grown up in Chang'an. He and Li Shimin's legitimate daughter, Princess Changle, had been childhood sweethearts and were betrothed!

With the wedding approaching, Li Shimin was manipulated by others and forcibly changed Luo Tong's betrothal to the unpopular Princess Runan, ordering him to marry into the imperial family.

On the wedding day, Luo Tong kicked over the bridal sedan and charged through three checkpoints into the imperial city alone, stunning the assembled officials. In the Taiji Palace, he took Princess Changle as his wife.

Just then, the Turks threatened the border. The villains hatched another scheme, sending Luo Tong back to Youzhou to fight the enemy alongside his grandfather Luo Yi, leaving them without reinforcements!

After the great battle, Youzhou was awash in blood and corpses, and nine out of ten households lay empty! Luo Yi's old illness returned, and he passed away!

From then on, Luo Tong faced south and ruled as Prince of Yan, inheriting the title and establishing his own fief. He would heed orders, but not imperial summons!
