The Contract Taoist

Lu Yu, the wealthy protagonist of the Xuangui Continent, returns from the dead and encounters Yun Luoyue, the soul of a Taoist priest from Earth. Bound by an agreement under the rules of Fengdu, the two sign a contract and strive to redeem each other. The Taoist priest works to cultivate the profound arts, while the profound cultivator works to master the Dao. Along their journey to fulfill the contract, they encounter one mystery and crisis after another, ultimately uncovering the truth left behind by the Age of the Gods.

This book features two major cultivation systems: the cultivation of the profound arts and the cultivation of the Dao. The latter is exclusive to the protagonist, who makes his mark on the Xuangui Continent through his Daoist arts.
