On August 14, 1937, the local Ninth Army of the Kuomintang garrison, under the command of Commander-in-Chief Zhang Zhizhong, commanded the 87th and 88th Divisions to begin a general offensive. The Chinese Air Force also went to Tianhai to coordinate operations, and on August 13th was ordered to launch a siege against the Hongkou Base of the Japanese Marine Corps stationed in Shanghai in an attempt to drive the enemy into the sea. The "August 13" Tianhai Anti-Japanese War began. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
