A General for My Stronghold

Story Synopsis

Ji Yaqin is an ordinary girl born in the 1990s. Since childhood, she has known every detail of the Yang family's heroic deeds and has been a devoted fan, deeply admiring the Yang army's loyalty, courage, and willingness to give their lives for their country.

On August 15, 2017, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, Ji Yaqin takes a tour group to visit the Yang Zhongwu Shrine and see relics of the Yang family. An unexpected accident causes her to transmigrate to the Northern Song Dynasty during Emperor Taizong's reign.

Entrusted with a mission in a moment of crisis by Chen Tuan, the Huashan Taoist scholar of the Northern Song, Ji Yaqin poses as Jian Biyao, the youngest and least experienced junior sister. She must bring together Yang Zongbao and her senior sister Mu Guiying, two lovers whose fates have been fraught with hardship; change the heart of her senior brother, Yelu Haonan, a former prince of Northern Han who is now the Khitan Empire's state preceptor, and whose mind has been clouded by hatred over his kingdom's destruction; and do everything she can to change the Yang family's destined fate. Through a twist of fate, Ji Yaqin's own destiny becomes tightly bound to those of the protagonists.

Can Ji Yaqin successfully complete her mission and achieve her goal...
