Urban: A Tycoon's Leisurely Life

This book is also known as The Daily Life of a Straight-Laced Guy.

"I don't know what happened either. The night before last, Sister Li called and said she'd had too much to drink and asked me to take her back to her hotel. I went without a second thought, and then the next day she wouldn't sign the contract. It made no sense."

"What? You went to a hotel. What did you do there?" Gu Nan shouted from the other end.

"What did I do? What could I do? I just took her to the hotel. Sister Li had too much to drink and wouldn't let me leave..." Before he could finish,

"She wouldn't let you leave? So what did you do?" Gu Nan's heavy breathing came through the phone.

"What could I do? We just played games for half the night. I didn't leave until Sister Li fell asleep," Bai Shi said, baffled.

"Played games for half the night? She fell asleep? And then you left? Fine, fine, fine. Bai Shi, I really misjudged you."

After that, all he heard was the dial tone. A few question marks appeared over Bai Shi's head.

"What a mystery. Women really are strange..."
