The Eight-Year-Old Rascal

An eight-year-old brat lives for eighty thousand years, with each year counting as ten thousand. Every eighty thousand years, the Heavenly Emperor chooses an "Eight-Level Brat," no older than eight, to descend into the realms of gods, humans, and demons to enforce the law and inspect the heavens. He can meddle in anything he sees. If things go badly, he just kills! And even if he kills you, there's nothing you can do about it! The Heavenly Emperor appointed him, after all. He wields the "Jade Emperor's Boundless Decree," wears the "Three Realms Rule-Breaking Blade," and dons the "Invisible Six Paths Reincarnation Armor." He can ascend through the nine heavens to report to the Heavenly Emperor, descend into the underworld and visit the netherworld, or swim wherever he pleases in the Dragon Kings' palaces beneath the four seas. He is invisible, colorless, and formless, a true "three-nothing product." He can transform into 108 different forms at will and transmigrate through any time and space.

The Eight-Level Brat can be summed up in one word: "arrogant!" He kills Buddhas when he meets them and destroys demons when he encounters them.

So, for a time, everything in the world made it its mission to fool the Eight-Level Brat as often as possible. This earned him a famous saying: "Fine! Your young master is right here. If you've got the guts, come fool me!"
