Liaozhai: It All Begins at Lanruo Temple

Lin Zhengtai transmigrates to the world of Liaozhai and becomes Yan Chixia's disciple, accompanying him to Lanruo Temple. He activates the "Ghost-Collecting System" and gets a little white fox. His master Yan Chixia goes off to fight the Old Hag with his life on the line, and never returns.

Lin Zhengtai subdues female ghosts, then activates the "Fierce Ghost Fusion System." By fusing any two fierce ghosts, he can raise their level by one.

He awakens the innate skill Hypnosis.

The Ghost-Collecting System upgrades, allowing him to subdue zombies as well. Lin Zhengtai begins building his own dojo: a dojo for zombies and fierce ghosts.
