In the Name of the Akatsuki

My name is Ryusuke. I have something to tell you, and I hope you won't freak out when you hear it.

I discovered that not only had I transmigrated into the world of Naruto, I'd also become a civilian orphan in the Land of Rain. The Second Great Ninja War had left me displaced, and I'd been separated from my family while fleeing.

But thankfully, I wasn't wandering alone. I had three companions who were pretty hardcore.

Want to know who they were?

Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan.

This might be the one thing worth celebrating about a hellish start.

I was so pleased that I even gave Heaven the middle finger.
