Romance of the Three Kingdoms: My Three Kingdoms Era

When vying for supremacy, talent is what matters most. A thousand soldiers are easy to find, but a good general is hard to come by. But where do you find talent?

All three kingdoms fell because of the great clans. The Sima family usurped Wei, while the Shu clans persuaded Shu's last ruler to surrender to Deng Ai. Jiang Wei fought with all his heart, but to no avail. The clans of Eastern Wu were just as unreliable: even before the Battle of Red Cliffs, they were already preparing to surrender.

Then the Jin dynasty founded by the Sima family came up with the Nine-Rank System, where "the upper ranks have no commoners, and the lower ranks have no aristocrats."
