Source Energy Controller

In the year 2500, space wormhole technology was invented, making it possible to travel vast distances across the universe in a short time. The Federation was founded that same year, and humanity embarked on the path of interstellar colonization. This year came to be known as Year One of the Interstellar Era.

As humanity explored the universe, some people awakened a mysterious power known as Source Force. They called themselves the New Humans.

Some New Humans believed they were gods among humanity. They founded the Temple and sought to rise above the Federation, enjoying supreme power. Others insisted they were still part of humanity. They founded the Sanctuary and believed Source Force should be used to protect humanity.

Their conflict continued for thousands of years alongside humanity's interstellar colonization, growing ever more intense. At last, with the Federation's help, the Sanctuary defeated the Temple and carried out a sweeping purge of the New Humans affiliated with it.

A thousand years later, remnants of the Temple showed signs of rising again...
