Honghuang: Giving Daji Away from the Start

The protagonist had only just possessed King Zhou's body when he discovered that Daji was being presented to him. That meant the day he burned himself to death at the Star-Picking Tower was not far off.

Fortunately, he had a Divine Refresh Option System.

"Ding! Beginner's gift pack generated. Promise the Great Dao that you will follow the Sage's will and replace Shang with Zhou. Reward: one position as the Star of Heavenly Joy."

Was this System trying to make the Host laugh, or setting him up?
