A Tale of Journey to the West 2: A Gamer's Life in Datang

This book is dedicated to the brothers and sisters who accompanied me through Journey to the West Online II.

In a parallel modern world, Xiyang, a ten-year veteran of Journey to the West Online II, is struck by lightning and killed for using a super cheat program. He is reborn with the cheat's abilities. But in this world, the game Journey to the West Online II doesn't exist, leaving his cheat useless. So he spends twenty years living an ordinary life.

Then one day, twenty years later, strange phenomena appear in the sky, and fishing villages materialize out of nowhere all over the world. A message suddenly appears in everyone's mind, warning that the world will undergo a great transformation in one day: Journey to the West Online II will merge with reality, and people can seek refuge in fishing villages around the world.

However, hardly anyone believes the message, and they can't bear to leave their prosperous, peaceful cities to take shelter in some fishing village. As for Journey to the West Online II, no one even knows what it is.

Others may not know what Journey to the West Online II is, but Xiyang does. He takes his brothers and sisters and heads for a fishing village to seek refuge...
