He transmigrated to the Tang Dynasty and became the Minister of the Court of Judicial Review.

An eight-year-old minister, executing a royal relative from the start and carrying the coffin back to Chang'an, he stirs the political winds with the righteous spirit of Qin law. "I am the Minister of the Court of Judicial Review. I judge the crimes of all under Heaven. Today I investigate a royal relative, tomorrow I investigate the emperor."

"The day after tomorrow, I investigate the empress, and the day after that, the Retired Emperor!"

Li Shimin was shocked and furious in court. He drew his sword, determined to kill Qin Fa.

Qin Fa calmly cupped his hands and said, "The sword that kills is Your Majesty's sword, and the law that punishes is the law of the Tang Dynasty. The emperor is equal to the common people before the law. If Your Majesty wants to act, then draw your sword!"

Li Shimin trembled with rage, then sheathed his sword.

Qin Fa smiled faintly and took out the Tang Code. "Your Majesty just violated the Tang Code, Clause Seven, Article Thirteen..."
