I Can Cash In My Negative Emotions

Yesterday, my younger sister and her best friend came over to hang out. By noon, they were both hungry, but the two girls were playing games in the room.

They asked Chu Le to make them lunch, so he took everything out of the fridge and whipped up smashed cucumber salad, bitter melon stir-fried with pork, braised eggplant, and caramelized bananas.

At mealtime, his sister's best friend glared at Chu Le with red eyes, as if she wanted to tear him limb from limb.
