The Fox Demon Cultivation Record

In the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, floods ravaged the world. Yu the Great, acting on the orders of Emperors Yao and Shun, personally led a thousand clansmen to control the floods. Passing by a small village, he happened to meet Tu Shanjiao, a thousand-year-old fox spirit. Captivated by her beauty and talent, Yu the Great married her.

From then on, the Tu Shan fox clan transformed from demon foxes who bewitched the people into auspicious foxes beloved by all.

Later, dynasties rose and fell, and the Xia dynasty gave way to the Shang. Su Daji had by then cultivated for a thousand years. Acting on Nuwa's orders, she went to the Shang dynasty to seduce Di Xin.

Afterward, Daji and Di Xin had a child. Looking at her baby, Su Daji named him Su Yao.

She had been fascinated since childhood by the cross-species romance between Tu Shanjiao and Yu the Great. Seeing her newborn, she felt she had finally fulfilled her dream.

King Wu of Zhou, Ji Fa, executed Di Xin and Su Daji.
