Yun Ying, blessed with both beauty and intelligence, is ordered to make the acquaintance of Lin Ying, though she has a hidden agenda. Yet his gentle warmth, like a spring rain, eventually changes her mind. Raised with painstaking care by the cult leader to be gentle-faced yet cold-hearted, one day she confides in him: "I may change my mind, but I could never betray your heart."
Lin Ying, a Tang general who is far-sighted, wise, level-headed, and a master strategist, meets Yun Ying and finds himself losing his composure. In the end, however, Lin Ying manages to remain true to both his country and the woman he loves.
This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
It seems that not many people have read this book, and my motivation is almost gone.
