The Tathagata Must Die

The Buddhist kingdom shatters, and the Journey to the West begins anew. Back at the starting point, the creatures of the Journey to the West who were doomed to perish in their tribulation are reborn.

Standing at the crossroads of fate, everyone knows how the eighty-one trials of their past life ended. Given another chance, what will they choose?

Sun Wukong says, "What you lose is what you cherish most! I'm dead set on becoming the Keeper of the Imperial Stables! Raising horses at work and going home after my shift is my dream! Whoever wants to go west can go! This old Sun has no interest in it!"

Zhu Bajie says, "I'm going back to Gao Village, and I'm still carrying my wife on my back. But forget Chang'e. I hear that bald monk wants to leave the priesthood."

The Queen of the Women's Kingdom says, "This time, we absolutely cannot let Tang Xuan leave the Women's Kingdom! If I can't keep his heart, I'll keep him here!"

As for me? I'm now a proud civil servant of the Great Tang. I'll occasionally go on a business trip to fetch scriptures, serve the Three Realms, and bring down the Buddha Tathagata!
