Biography of Five Hu Countries

The Biography of the Five Hu States is adapted from the 170-year history of the Sixteen Kingdoms Period of the Two Jin Dynasties in Zizhi Tongjian compiled by Sima Guang, from 265 AD to 439 AD. It is based on the rise, fall, and replacement process of the Eastern and Western Jin Dynasties and the five northern ethnic groups of the Xiongnu, Jie, Di, Xianbei, and Qiang that coexisted during the same period. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
