This Is Just a Legend

This is a folk tale widely told in my hometown.

The time and place are beyond doubt.

The story's authenticity, however, cannot be verified.

I've jotted it down offhand, as if paying a visit to the past. Great masters, take it with a grain of salt.

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, rebel armies rose up across the land.

Erzi was just an ordinary farmer in Qingzhou. By a stroke of fate, he somehow became an altar master of the Canglong Society. From then on, he set out to punish evil, protect the people, and restore justice.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
