I didn't understand it very well at first, but in theory, the City God and the Yin God shouldn't be overly involved in the affairs of the world, let alone participate in the war. Just as there are yang and yang, yin and yin, the human war gods cannot interfere at will. It feels weird for the protagonist to get involved from the beginning.
