I just don't understand it at all. Isn't the protagonist from the space and light system? What's up with the dragon-slaying magic that's exactly the same as Natsu's? Did I miss it?

It would be too messy to assume that the author has read the original novel and is writing it. It would be too random to just read a few fan novels.

The author hasn't read Fairy Tail, and the timeline doesn't match up. I suggest the author review Fairy Tail first and then start writing. Now you've ruined everything.
