Creatures directly fused with Primordial Stones are Primordial Species. Primordial Stones fell with the meteor shower, and some creatures were killed outright by the meteors as the stones transformed them. When a Primordial Species dies, it leaves behind a Destiny Crystal. Destiny Crystals give rise to Destiny Species, which leave behind crystal fragments when they die. Three fragments of the same attribute can be combined into a Sub-Crystal. All Primordial Species belong to the mysterious type, whose abilities are unpredictable. Destiny Species possess powerful but singular abilities due to the flaws and weakened nature of Sub-Crystals. Their abilities include the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, as well as life, death, shadow, shapeshifting, and mystery. These types do not counter one another, but have strong and weak variations. The mysterious and death types are exceptions. For example, a strong metal type can control large quantities of steel and iron over a wide area, and can strengthen them. A weak metal type can control only small amounts of steel and iron, but can extract and use steel and iron from objects containing those elements, or develop another unique ability.
