Farewell to Youth

I started this story because I wanted to give the TV series When We Were Young, whose characters are fearless in their youth, the perfect ending I felt it deserved. The series tells of the unforgettable high school years of a five-person street-racing crew. Their innocent romance and deeply moving friendship gradually drift apart after the college entrance exams come to an end...

The pure bonds in When We Were Young are deeply touching, and I've become completely captivated by the five members of the crew. Whether or not there is a second season, I want to write the next chapter of their story. Will it be happy or sad? I don't know.

I regret the unspoken love between Hua Biao and Yang Xi, and hope they can have a perfect ending. I wonder whether Yang Chao will meet Yang Xiao and Mei again after going to MIT; whether Li Yu, who is heading to Japan, will end up with Huang Chengcheng, who loves him so deeply; whether Situ Ertiao will ever return to this city; and whether Teacher Kong and Xiaohongbai will become a couple...

One exam, five test papers, and five people went their separate ways..
