The City's Underworld Paper Effigy Maker

Paper effigy makers craft ghostly paper offerings, sending them to the dead to honor the balance of yin and yang!

Put simply, a paper effigy maker is a craftsman who makes paper offerings. Most of the things they create are paper boys and girls, spirit houses, and paper horses to be burned for the dead.

Paper effigy making is one of the oldest trades among the many traditional crafts. In the old classification of trades, the seventh category, "tiao," referred to these paper effigy makers.

Many people think paper figures and horses are made only to be sold to families arranging funerals. If that's what you think, you're wrong. By day, they serve the living, who are holding funerals. By night, they serve the dead.

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Jiang Wuji obtains a god-tier Paper Effigy Maker System and becomes the only paper effigy maker in the world. The story begins when he helps someone return from the dead on the seventh day after their passing!
